I hope your not planning on putting it back together with them stock springs bro... I'd hate to see you spend all that $$$ and then skimp out on a key ingredient....

Dont worry, It isnt goin together like that. Those valves are way too heavy for the stockers.

So today Ricky and I got everything in the brake system replaced. Master to wheel cylinders. Bled everything and Its a rock hard pedal. Ebrake feels right.

Also replaced the other wheel seal.

Friday I blended the intake bowls on the head. Nothing really to post pics about.

    Update.

I finished the bowl blending/porting on the cyl head. What really impressed me is that I didnt hit water! Woot! Cosidering I have over a thousand in the head.

    Looks good, nice and smooth...

I didnt assemble it yet, I just need to clean all the grit out of it then put it together. Should be done tomorrow with it.

Last week I bought the LC pro dual valve springs, chromoly retainers and shims, and hardened keepers. $200 Shipped. Went to WalMart and got a pack of Play-Doh to do the whole valve to piston clearance thing. $4

You guys think I should do a tech article on how to clay 22R pistons?

    HAH!! $1,000 20R Hybrid head....
That's just what has been spent on it,
how much would YOU charge for the custom
    porting you did foo??
I'd say that's an easy $400 or more, so you can
say you haz $1,400 invested in that head, plus the
valve lapping you just did an hour ago.... Dmn this
gets exciting, and waiting to see the Hybrid done already, SH!T!!!

I wouldnt even want to do it chum, way to much time.

    So here are some pics.

Valve lapping compound and a lapper tool. Headworker gold...

    Setting the springs in...

By the two hand test, stock vs the LC valve weigh the same, if not a tad lighter. But it still got the top notch springs. Isnt it pretty

    Ok enough for tonight. :waytogo:
Leaktesting them. Water tight = great!

Money shot. Bout 1 hr to lap and install the intake valves.
