I think it would be worth it to find some adapters and put them on. I think they are awesome.

Yeah i already have 350z rims so I am not going to waste my time. I have seen some really nice bmw wheels on a toyota pickup and i am sure they had different bolt pattern adapters. They were sexy too.

I'm running the straight spoke probe wheels, as opposed to the other GT wheels in this thread. I need to get them machined, I can't rotate them right now haha. Oh well.

Ok.... Firstly, so many of these wheels look awesome on pickups. Thanks for all of the photos, this is a great thread.

Secondly, did anyone have any speedo miscalibration issues? Or is everyone just going for it, and not worrying about the speedo because the wheels look cool? (Just to be clear, Im not against that:)

Im working on getting some Conquest wheels this week, and figuring out what tires I should run (no drop on my 1991 ext. cab pickup currently, it's stock ride height)

speedo is only off if your tire height is different.

if your tire is smaller, then the speedometer will read "faster" (it says 65mph but you're doing 60mph in real life)

The question is, how are your road conditions and are you willing to drive with smaller tires?

    Conquest wheels, aren't those 16"?
if they're wide, you can get by on rough roads with 215/55/16 or 225/50/16's and still look meaty and look good. speedometer may be off by a few mph's.

CinNAMmon: yeah they are 16x8 rear and 16x7 front, I actually just picked them up and they have 215/55/16 on the front and 225/55/16 and 245/15/16 on the rear.. Yeah it's weird, I'm aware. I'm about to bolt em onto my truck and see how they fit. They look awesome

And I live in the bay area (CA) so the road conditions are so-so, varying from super rough to really nice and smooth. They are typical I guess. And I wouldn't mind a smaller tire, I have seen the Conquest rear wheels of these rims with 195/45/16 tires on a lowered truck and it looked super sweet. But my truck is stock height. Either way I'll give them a test fit shortly

lol i'd get matching 225's in the rear. I see a typo.. lol 245/15/16's, what is it?

215/55/16's in the front seem perfect. I have 205/40... too damn skinny!
I think a matching set of 225/55/16's in the rear would do well.

    225/55/16 and 215/55/16 vs 205/75/14

    pic 1: comparing 225/55/16 (w/ full tread) to stock 205/75/14 (75%+ tread)
    Pic 2: comparing 225/55/16 (w/ full tread) to stock 205/75/14 (75%+ tread)
    pic 3: comparing 215/55/16 (20% tread) to stock 205/75/14 (75%+ tread)

note: the 225/55/16 is very close to the original rolling diameter. the 215/55/16 is about 1 inch shorter. According to a tire size calculator online the stock 205/75/14 are about 26.1" diameter the 225/55/16 are 25.74" and the 215/55/16 are about 25.31" which is exactly what my rough measurements tonight showed.

It also showed that with the 225/55/16 vs the stock 205/75/14 the Diameter Difference: 1.38% and the Speedometer Difference: 1.392% too fast. with the 215/55/16 the difference was over 3% which is too high for me.

The 205/60/16 might also be a good option for the front since the overall diameter of that tire is almost exactly the same as the 225/55/16.

    Yay for research.:clapping:
