It's the one being torn into right now so I need to keep the toyota in one piece for the time being. I'm looking at getting a 01 f150 right now for a daily so then i'll have two projects going on.
after taking off the bed and looking at the back of the frame i decided to just do a back half. it will look cleaner overall, and i won't have to cut off all the stock spring hangars. i made a template to get an idea of what the back half will be. another reason is an 8 piece notch costs around $80, and 20' of 2x3" sq. tubing costs only $100
Bernie you are crazy!!! Lol But seriously for the age of the truck it is really clean. Ive seen trucks here that are only 10 years old, that are more rotten than that thing! Cant wait to see the bag setup on it. Should sit nice when it all done! Good Luck!
the chromemoly tubing for the upper 4link bars came in today. now if fbi and suicidedoors would get with the program and fill my orders i would be set.....
here is the bench seat.... my friend snapped the pic before tearing it to bare frame for a complete rebuild. it is supposed to be done soon.
ok. here is before and after!!!!!!!!!!! i'm so damn happy!!! next is matching door panels and headliner. also going to add some carpet.
thanks! my friend used to own a custom autobody/suspension/upholstery shop. he just got back into it a couple months ago.
