i'm getting a decent return on taxes so i will be ordering up all the air ride next week. still need to find a exhaust manifold.
Sounds good to the first... Good luck with the second... part of the reason I'd go for the 22R, parts are easier to come by. Gotta make it loud when it's done!
i have a small block chevy sitting in the garage on a stand. i would probably do that before anything else. although a found a 79-80ish pickup that comes with a 5m motor.
This thing is going to be sick man. What kind of numbers do the 18r's put down? I wouldn't imagine it could be much.
18r 97hp 107ftlbs 20r 96hp 120ftlbs 22r 97hp 129ftlbs http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_R_engine#18R as you can see it just has a lil less grunt then a 22r. the real difference is the cast head. the 18r is super heavy, where the 2xr's have a aluminum head. when i swapped a 18r for a 22r in my wagon the front end rose up 1.5in.
i found an 18rg on craigslist in washington` but he said it's locked up. i wonder if the block and lower end is the same. he only wanted $50
yeah, shonuff has one. as soon as stupid paypal makes the deposit (i like paypal just takes forever) i will be getting it
hey burn, just throwing this out there drive the titan before you buy a ford.. the 5.4 is as big of a pig as the 22r lol...at least promise youll test drive a titan lol.. you will pooh your pants when you compare the 2 side by side
if i bought a ford it would be cheaper since i love those titans slammed or in the air. i like the way the fords drive but i think they look the best stock. either way if any new vehicle found it way into my fleet it would probably be a new 4dr taco, but i hate payments so i'm gunna try and use what i got.
Hemi... Sorry to thread jack, been kinda partial to Dodges, thanks to Dad's '02 Ram and Grandpa's '91 Stealth R/T Twin Turbo.
you couldn't pay me to buy a dodge. everyone in my family jumped on the band wagon and bought them. every vehicle had warrenty issues that the dealer refused to repair.
I respect them, but I don't want any one of them but a Stealth. It's Mitsubishi made anyway. Copy of the 3KGT. They added the Lifetime Powertrain warranty, but that's because those go out on those often. Dad wanted me to get his older Ram, but I turned it down for my Toyota.
i cant decide how i want my seat done. i'm going two tone black and red vinyl. the white is just for definition. the black in the red will be pleating. the square one is option 1, the roundish is option 2 opinions please!
i ordered all the parts for the 4link tonight, and will be picking up the bags and everthing else tomorrow!
