i find myself going through this build log all the time just to give me inspiration for my own. great stuff bernie. great stuff.
thanks guys i'm having some serious motivation issues the week or so lol i'm really wanting to get a 90's toy to screw around in so i don't have to rush my lux before wcn
Motivation issues for a week or so? I haven't touched my truck in like 2 months now lol I'm still contemplating hacking the frame up to start my irs and coilovers. Truck is looking beautiful as usual though bern. I can't wait to hear that motor run and see some color on that frame.
i've done a little work on the lux in the last week or so. i narrowed the rearend 1.5". (thanks to seth (twisted minis) for the info) i cleaned up the axle of all the nasty factory spatter. it took a long time but will worth it once it's painted. also added gussets to the link tabs and i stuck the stock bedsides together for wcn. i still plan to make new ones, but since it isn't running yet i wanted it to at least look more complete lol
tonight i got the rear supra caliper stands all figured out. got one made and installed too. i need to order some 10mm banjo to a/n-3 fittings.
got a bit more done on the lux my wife bare metaled the bed for me finished the passenger caliper stand also i have to make one more line under the dash and i'll have the front brakes working.
what size are those supra rotors... I like that coversion a lot better than the others out because you keep it all toyota not chevy this ford that
they're hard to measure on the truck but autozone lists the size of the stock replacement as 291.1mm which is 11.460629921272222" i agree about keeping it yota, especially since i'm using supra spindles and front brakes. i was gunna do the mustang rotor/gm caliper but i want to get all drilled/slotted rotors and i can buy a full kit for supra for less then buying supra front/ mustang rears separate.
working on getting the hood finished up and i love the way socalcustoms always makes my paper weight look good lol
Man it looks sik. Hey u going to exstend the the bottom on the bed sides to match up with the doors when layed out
