Seriously, it's a really straight body for that old of a truck. I've seen so many American made trucks, even modern, with heavily damaged front ends. Great find, Bernie!

looks pretty clean, check the floor boards for rust.

you will find these are a whole lot easier to slam real low then newer trucks.

i'm waiting on money for parts for the 86, which will be in may. for now i'm tinkering with this one. i pulled the bench and my friend is re doing it. i'm having him do it in black vinyl kinda like the old 60 cars, and he is making me new door panels to match. i also pulled all the old dash pad off cuz it was cracked in a thousand spots and i'm making a new one. i layed foil down on the dash and installed the steel piece that secures the pad to the dash, then used spray foam insulation and built up a rough shape. now i'm working on trimming it back to factory shape and will either upholster it or fiberglass it. i'm keeping the interior the stock red and black and will probably flat black the outside. i would post pictures of the dash i'm doing but i cant seem to find my camera.

I wish mine wasn't a daily so I could do some more work to it. Everthing I want to do is going to keep it down for more than a day or two and i'll spend 300 dollars in gas driving my car lol. I can't wait to see some progress on the truck though it's going to be sick. I'm guessing you're going with an old school look?

I was going to extend my bed aswell. Ya gotta add it at the very bottom of the bed though in order to keep the body lines lined up

i hope to bring my bed line down in a couple weeks. ive got a new bed im just gonna cut off the part infront of the wheel below the body line and tack it on the new bed.

not sure if im gonna do behind the wheel or not. the roll pan looks kinda goofy when i mock it up in photoshop.

    bernie-

when you do find your camera, can you take some pics of the front suspension? i wanna know if its different, or if the only difference between mine and yours is the grill/motor.

hey nuff, i did a photochop of the bed mod as well. it looks goofy to me if the back is left at factory length. i was thinking about extending it at the wheel well and angling the metal up to the factory rear. i'll take pics just as soon as the camera turns up.
