its coming together faster than I would be able to do it. heck im just replacing old junk on my truck and its taking forever.
i got the lip the fenders will bolt to tacked up. and these are the rims i ordered last night in 20x8.5 with some 225/30/20 rubber
If I still had a camera I would take a pic of the bumper that he GAVE me for free for my 72. He really hooked me up and I just wanted everyone to know that. He wouldnt take money I offered him either, just did it cause he is a genuinely nice guy! THANKS!
honestly i see a show winning magazine covering bad ass machine here. once its done can i fly down just to hear it???
These (link) and that truck = magazine truck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ba8sT2BQ4uc Its a magazine truck any way! Excelent work wish I could afford to pay someone to do this type of stuff to mine or if I had the skill.
i love those ITB's!! i've watched that video several times before. i priced a supercharger last night. if i happen to come across $5k, i just might have to pick one up
Do eeet. Superchargers are fun, buddys got a 600hp cobra running 18psi on a 2.2 KB. That engine makes 200torque at like 1000rpms anyway, that would be so sick. you have the first gen 1uz right? like 89-94? How tall is that engine from the bottom of the oil pan(not the sump, just what would be over a crossmember) to the top of the intake. The vg30 im planning on using is 28inchs tall with the supercharger I have for it... Measuring in my truck I think my distributor will be sticking out the hood with having that stock crossmember in there. The front of these trucks start sloping down so much from the cowl to the headlights.
yep mine is a 89 motor. i'd say the motor is roughly 26" tall from the area where the steering would be to the top of the intake. the awesome thing is if i go supercharger, it would actually be shorter than the factory intake. but that will be several years down the road...
rims came in today!!!!! started changin up my upper link bars.. they got a little stretch, but not crazy like them drift cars have....
Are you still planning on doing the caddy rear? Because they way it's loking now I wouldn't. (my opinion) I'm sure if you do it will look good, but this thing is turning out sick like this man. Seriously if this doesn't get a full feature in a mag I give up on life.
