thanks. i learned how to weld when i was 16, then started welding and fab on heavy equipment when i was 17. all self taught pretty much. thanks!
yeah, it's gunna require some kind of cowl hood. i might have cleared if sat the oil pan on the ground, but i prefer a little space (in case of rocks/debris). i'm actually afraid to cut the hood to, cuz if i mess up i can't go and pick one up at the junkyard. these trucks are few and far between down here.
Who needs a hood with an engine like that?? Awesome work, one day I hope ill be able to pull stuff off like this, I plan on dong a single turbo 1uz in my 85 300zx for driftTaring when I get out of my tech school for machining., but I dont think thats anything compared to building a frame and it actually working right Did you build the frame around using the stock suspension? Or some stock yota truck suspension. like mounting points and all that jazzZ
i've seen a cowl scoop on this hood and it looks sick. if you can, try to just use the lines. or, make a fiberglass one
i picked up my supra spindles, rotors, and calipers today! i also grabbed a nice ass tailgate, but i'll probably sell it so i can do the caddy rear end
u seem like ur busy man with all these projects. ur work looks good. do u do side jobs for this stuff?
