18ga welded back in. not the prettiest but nothing someRAGE GOLD cant fix.

 

still doing bodywork trying to finish it up so i can get to painting her!. but got some parts in the mail today from engnbldr. 270/430 cam and timing chain set and oil pump. tried to keep costs down so didnt buy oem oil pump.

 

Im using two of his kits on my truck and no issues. Been a few years using them, they are good parts for a fair price.

 

Been using his rv head and head bolts timing set and seals six years with plenty of abuse . Shouldn't have any problems with his stuff like mentioned quality parts and a good price

 

Ive heard nothing but good stuff about his kits so im hoping to see great out come! Idk how much hp gain to expect.

 

I believe the 270 cam moves the powerband up a little more in the rpm range wich will help cruisng especially if your a 4 speed and above 50 mph should feel a little stronger above 3500rpm

 

I bent mine,ride height is 4 1/2'', made a new one that gives me another 1'' of clearance. Lets the truck lay out more @ the front , as the stock cross brace was hitting the ground!

Scrub88- yeh he was telling me the powerband is stronger and freeway power is way better so like highway drags are better. I really hope im satisfied eith the power gain. Lol.

Truck action- bro that crossmember looks dope! Mines shaved down so much it almost looks like that. Lol

Nashman- hey bro its from a 22re celica dunno wat year I forgot. But the gear ratio in the trans is supposed to be more speed oriented as the trucks ones are for torque and hauling. The 5speed celica trans feels good the 3rd gear is a little shirter then the trucks one. I had a 4spd prior and I drove my friends truck 5 speed.

 

WOW AH? why the stock 97 hp not good enough? nah lol cannot wait to hear this thing run.
