Can I see the finished kick panels? Your engine bay looks very similar to mine without the wheel wells.

my kick panels arent glassed or anything. just simple. cut some 3/4mdf wood made speaker rings and wrapped um up in vinyl.and bolted them(long skinny bolts) into the kick panel. lol. saves me from ruining my stock door look. ill post pics soon bro!

No box is too big. I'm 5'6 I fit just right. I kept it as far back as possible. But the aero port killed me with box width at the bottom

Watchu mean?. Well I placed it there cuz it saves my door panels from being cut. It also allows the sound more space between the speaker and your ear. So it'll smooth out a little more so its less harsh on your ears.

Finally changed my leaky valve cover gasket. Got to re make my engine cross member. Everything is shsved down and dangerous. Thinking of raising the truck back up couple inches but just doesnt seem right.

Chill, I have seen it happen to a few Toyotas. I have snapped mine in half hitting a piece of precast concrete on the highway. Also you need to take into account everything will eventually break, it might take a while but it will
