I don't know if this is tacky or just tasteless, but my makeshift valence didn't really hold up last winter, bumping into snowbanks. I'm wondering what it would look like if I took the spare bumper from my parts truck, turned it upside down, and mounted it underneath my current bumper. I'd probably wire the second set of marker lights as turn signals and paint both bumpers flat black.

It'd probably come out uglier than a Pontiac Aztek, but I'm still thinking about it. I love some of the mods you guys do, but Pablo is more about function than style.

Here's a rather embarrassing one. Headlight covers, almost as bad as a bug guard on the hood.

I almost forgot: Back in the day, we taped hazmat placards (The temporary paper, diamond-shaped signs they put on big rigs when they haul hazardous materials.) to the back window... Just because we thought it looked cool. I had the corrosive one and a buddy got one for explosives. I got lectures from a few truckers and puzzled looks from a few others. Luckily I never wrecked it during that time so there was no hazmat incident while the firefighters figured out the dumb kid in the econo-****box wasn't carrying a hatchback full of battery acid.
Ah, the early 90's. If we tried half the crap we did in our youth, nowadays, we'd be in gitmo. :looney:

Never was a fad I'm aware of. I am always adding new ones to replace the worn out ones. We have tons of crows in the area and I've always collected bird feathers in my wanderings. I think it qualifies as tacky
