I remember the day I bought my first set of custom wheels. There was a guy in a Mighty Max with what looked like 15x12 with 195/50's. The side walls were completely horizontal and didn't stretch anywhere near the outer edge of the wheel. The wheel lips were all bent up because there was literally an inch between the wheel and the ground. I have no idea how they got them to hold air. That was way back in 97. That man was a visionary! :looney:

That just looks stupid to me. If that's your thing go for it, but saftely always comes before style in my book. I'd like to see those tire last on the roads around here. Hell my civic is about 3" off the ground with 15x7s and 195/50/15s and I have to replace at least 1 tire a year cause of potholes.

My 225/45/17s on my mustang wheels arnt stretched that much but took this photo of the camber, need to fix it :D I think I have a wheel bearing thats contributing to the problem.

Pot holes are bad around here too, my 300zx suspension was bad, and I put new springs and struts, and man I can feel how crappy the roads are now, I want to drive my old pathfinder again because of it, It would be nice if the city spent money on roads and now stupid fountains on the citys "entrance" they waste so much moeny, how come it is always idiots over everything.
