eh....... its all a matter of opinion and style..... some of the stretching will appeal to most but not all........ its a style. those who do it for the performance gain know how much is enough to gain an advantage and how much is just too much......
Eh, truth in your post and his post. I think stretching tires just requires finding the correct middle line.. There's a website somewhere that shows stretches of different tires on different wheels.
Hell yea we need to get started! So uh who wants to buy me some new tires? And maybe some wheels? Anyone?
Guess Ill post up mine, 225-40(or 45)-17 on 9inch wide cobra Rs It is a stretch just not that noticable, its what im looking for in my truck, its a safe stretch that ive had people say it looks good. the truck wont be going fast or drifting just want something to cruise in that looks cool. for now. And that nissan truck IS BANGING!!! Camber on 80s 300zx is bad. I need bushings bad.
thats bad camber? lol. ever seen a bagged dodge? or a ranger...well, doing anything? or my truck? lol.
Thats on the rear of my car though and it makes it not look at good because the wheels arnt flush with the fenders, and thats what makes a car look have decent to me, it has semi trailing arm suspension, really bad design but it works on these cars. My hilux has some camber on the front, not bad though.
yeah....if there was a way, sho would have already done it i would love an irs, but its not worth all the work
2008 Thanksgiving Trip to LosAngeles. Overloaded Honda Odyssey (2001, 3.5LV6) averaging 100mph across the states. it was a 24hr straight drive for me to and home. it was pretty fun
I like the 3.5 hondas, my mom has one, pretty quick. lets just say it will beat any yota truck with a R engine. I dont see why it would be hard, you have a frame to work with, in a unibody car you have to make sure it mounts to certain points, then you have the strut location. Fortunatly its easy to put a 240sx subframe(multi link), under a 300zx(trailing arm). I dont really see an advantage going to irs vs live. Unless your doing some hardcore drifting/auto-x. I have to be honest I can tell when what im riding in has a live axle, irs feels more planted to the road. But my pathfinder wasn't bad, it was 4 link I think.
i know what you mean. this one sticks pretty good. and it wont be a road course truck. basically i just want to be even lower without a hole in the bed.
