yah plus the fact it just really doesnt sound healthy, not saying just your truck cause I did it to mine too while i was doing my tranny crossmember it was just open header and test pipe cut under driver seat and it was abnoxious.

Someone stole my cat a while ago too. back on topic, i only run my my cat and no muffler, just a tip after the cat, my dads had it that way since i was a baby and now its been mine for a few years and i cant picture it sounding any different haha. its honestly not that bad. i do want to get some sort of magnaflow muffler or somehing in the near future though.

My cat was stolen just last year. Sounded just like that. Went out to leave for work, started it and knew exactly what had happened. When I walked back in the house my wife said " Jesus, what the hell did you do now?" LOL!! I get the blame for everything! I'm thinking about another muffler but don't know which one to get.

I have a Magnaflow 40 Muffler, but I wanna get a semi-louder exhaust, and something deeper.

I am running a strait pipe from the header back. I love the sound of it. I have headers and a cam, 2.25 inch piping all the way back to a 18" top and I love the sound of it backfiring every time I downshift. The flames are a nice touch too :)

Isn't it ridiculously loud tho? No Muffler or Cat? I just think I'd get pulled by City Police in a hot second, plus my neighbors would be pissed.

Inside the cab it's not to bad. At freeway speeds or cruising it's not loud. When I get on it, ya it screams. My neighbors don't like me much anyways because I am always doing something in the garage, so I don't mind waking them up every morning

How would it sound with no Cat and just the muffler? Was thinking about doing just a Catless exhaust

I prefer stock exhaust ... Was thinkin' about throwin' a after market one on to give it that deep tone but probably wouldn't be able to hear it over the sound system anyway ... lol ...

    Got any sound clips?

I could spend all day on youtube, if you guys would take some more vids of your trucks:)

Mine is a stock system with a glasspack... Video is on youtube. I would link to it, but im on a work computer that blocks that kind of stuff, grrr. Its maroon with 18's, if you wanna check it out.

Titled: "Toyotoa 22r glasspack muffler" or something like that...

Looking to upgrade to something a little louder in the future
