I looked all over for semi gloss, but wasn't patient enough to wait for shipping. It will dull a little over time.

No more wearing speedos while summer driving, my gnuts will stick to the seat.

Should be fine. I wear black all the time anyway.

VA summers are fairly mild, tint will come soon as well.

You might save those 6 cents for one of those windshield sun reflectors to help keep the sun from beating on those seats. When i drove the Lexus it had black/dark grey leather seats and that was horrible if i didnt use the screen to block the sun.

    Truck already came with one.

    ;)

I've got a 72 Chevelle that was my high school ride when I lived in FL. It has all black interior and a black vinyl bench. This ain't my first rodeo. Lol

    Maybe some tint?
Like Mike said this New Mexico sun is just horrible on our interior. Even my blue cloth interior can get so hot that I have to park my truck, in the morning, towards where the sun will be at when i leave work so my sunshade works like its supposed to.:brickknock:

Yeah, you guys are starting to beat a dead horse. :p

I said somewhere in my past 5 posts already that I plan on tinting the windows.

I'm 36 years old and have owned probably around 50 or so cars and trucks of all types. Most of them were hot rods and 67-72 Chevy C10 trucks. I'm well aware that vinyl in the sun sucks.

I've already got the sun shade, it came with the truck.

I plan on covering the seat with a blanket for hauling my chocolate lab around with me. I can throw a towel on it for now until I can get the window tint finished.

Snaptint.com is your friend for tint. I have used 3 of there kits with great results. I like to bench. I have black leather in my truck and it doesn't bother me in the summer.

Thabks for the heads up on snap tint. This will be my first tint job all by myself, so wish me luck. Haha.

Yeah, VA summers are very mild. I'll be fine.

Roach found me a passenger door and hooked me up with that last night. Nice to meet you in person brother and thanks big time for helping out.

It was too late to snap a pic of the door by the time I remembered to take a pic, but I got stopped by a train leaving town and snagged a cool pic of that and the old train station.

Well, this one is gone. Traded it for a bitchin' 76 Chevy survivor van yesterday.

Solid van, room to haul my bike and hot rod parts, room to camp. 350/automatic. Probably won't be my last Toyota, but for now I'm loving this van.
