5th Annual Scrappin' into Summer May 16 2009 Boise, Idaho

Meaticulous Details C.C. put on the show, there were cars from Oregon, Washington, & Utah. There were also member from Relaxed Atmosphere, Severed Ties, Miniature Society, Freaks of Nature, Magical Minis, Aftermath, & Underground Kustoms. Here are some pics. I'll do the Yota's first & some of you might recognize the first one.

hey david, in the first pic behind the 4x4. is that a doored mazda with a volkswagon rearend?

 

Yes but no on the rearend, he rebuilt the back half. He has bags in front and juice in back. He gets like around 2-3 ft of lift in the back.

hmmmm. looks very similiar to one i seen at bring the noize 09. but the kid was using the vw motor and rearend......

 

Oh, he's here in Boise. If I bag my truck, he's the one thats gonna do it.

 

btw, pics do NOT give that Yota 4x4 justice. To see that thing in person is AWESOME! When it airs out the bottom corner of the valance sits an inch off the tires!

 

That's cool. I know so many of those guys, lol, (and I do their logos)

 

I dont know its a huge deal to most, but Il be rolling up to logger days in Priest River Idaho come July 24, 25, 26, kinda small fry but close for me, Ive got lots more I wanna go to, but projects have my cash in a strangle hold. Anyone else know of this event, theyve got a cruise, flamethrowers and such and a car show and some other stuff, or is anyone gonna head up . . .

 

I've never been, but my buddies say it gets pretty crazy and they like it. I didn't know they even had a car show, lol.

 

If I can get a job here real quick, I'll try and get up there. Its about a 5 hour drive for me.

I'm also gonna try and go to Low Down in Shelton, WA in June with some guys from Aftermath & Freaks or Nature here in Boise.

 

We'll be at LowDown.

And last year at LowDown, one of the guys in the aftermath camp rolled his truck at the show. Things can get pretty crazy when you get a bunch of MiniTruckers together all at the same place, lol.

 

I hung out with some Freaks, Aftermath & Miniature Society last night. Found out they have get togethers every few weeks at different local Sonic drive-thru's locations.

 

I wish they had more of that around here.

 

It was fun! We hung out at Sonic for like 2 1/2-3 hours, then some of us went downtown on the cruise.

 

Once again smal fry compared to other sows, but, I hear its a hella kick in the pants . . . Asphalt Angels Car Club - 2009 Hot Neon Night cruise - July 24 - 25, thats Friday Saturday guys/gals. Well be cruising Priest River Idaho 7 - 10 on the 24th with trophies for classiest cruiser, neatest neon, and the hottest flames, thats right flames, who doesnt like flames, hell, I cant wait just for them. July 25th show-n-shine 8:30 - 1:00, $15 to enter. Ill be rolling up Friday morning and be showing off for us here @ toyotaminis, I so hope and wish to see some of you N.W. people there, its 2 hours for me, which is easy, but, I so wanna meet some members from here and we can show off and BS . . .

 

It's about 2 hours for me also. I'll see if I can swing it into my schedule though. It sounds like fun to me. I love meeting other members.
