Well tonight I picked up a set of 17" magnum steelies w tires! I was thinking about repainting them black and doing a ring either red, or ring of the same color as my truck.

Anyone know what kind of lug nuts I need to pickup or spacers?

I don't know but if you have to change things you might have to get longer lug nut studs as well if you haven't thought of that already.

I got the same rims in my garage. Just waiting to put some tires on them. They fit right on but i would use Alittle bigger lug nuts.

    Ok, Lets play a game...

If you owned my truck and had $1000 to spend on suspension and motor, Keep in mind this is a daily driver and airbags are NOT an option, What would you buy?

Officer, you should try some autocrossing, a lovely motorsport under the SCCA and will help you with driving in real life situations.
Sways aren't really needed if you don't like corners, but hey, maybe you might like a new automotive motorsport hobby.

I'm gunna be doing auto-x this year, sways might be a go :D

Well, I LOVE to get the rear end sideways. I like the ride of sport vws, and would like to be able to take on ramps around 60+ so.. Here is what I am thinking, beltech spindals, leafs, new tie rods, bj's upper and lower, ss brake lines, ebc pads, and as many urethene bushings I can get my hands on..I love "gils89" truck with his orange starions and would like my truck to be able to set about the same on my starions.

As a side note, I am thinking of running 205/65/16 fronts and 235/65/16 rear on the starions and would like to make the truck handle like its on rails.

Thank you very much! It is still in progress, and has a ways to go but I thank you for your encouragement. I just washed it, am polishing the Valve cover like the starions, and ordered a timing chain and head gasket kit today!

As for the IRS, I understand that It would not ride exactly, but that is the overall idea for handling I would like to achieve.

With the suspension plans I have mentioned(beltech spindal, leafs, etc) Would that tire size work? I want to make it a street truck, with some balls and that can hang on the corners as much as possible.

Who has constructive advise for knowlodge on these products?
