what's wrong with roof racks? i know they're played out but i actually put them to use. the toolbox to hold my tools makes the bed shorter and iDont wanna scratch up my tailgate.

Dakine das why. Lmfao. I use mine for my ulua poles. 13ft of fishing pole is a lot to be sticking out a bed or leaning over the cab.

yea i think putting them to use is good but so many people nowdays have those universal walmart roof racks just to be "oily" haha... that's what makes it played out where i live. i even seen a few people run racks from walmart with a yakima fairing. :looney:

Even body kits on cars are played out. Lol... plus it take a lot of work to make the extreme kit to work unless you take the whole s10 bumper to mount on the Toyota. Who knows even that might look good if you can pull itt off.

You're excused if you use your truck like a truck. The gist of the thread is if you want a car, get a car. If you like bodykits and car styling, get a car.

i considered buying an x-runner but couldnt get past the goofy "body kit" as y'all call em. bought a 05 4x instead. now i just hate the fender flares..
