    So what all is going to be done for traction. I see wider tires. Well then it's irs so the only other thing would be lsd and traction rods. Even without the
    2JZ the traction would be fun still.

    why not use a r154 gearbox from the mkiii supra with a 1jz bellhousing? cheaper than getting a getrag plus they are still stout and can handle the abuse.

    unless you got your heart set on the 6-speed, would be a nice techiical exercise to undertake, kudos for wanting to take the plunge

    im building up an r154 now..and honestly for the money i should have gotten the 6 speed. they can handle SOME abuse but they are no match for a powerfull supra. max, 700 horse.
