thanks man. ill get a better video later tonight.

yes it is. im thinking about deleting the stock crossover behind the motor and run individual down pipes into a better crossover pipe under the trans.

    thanks!

Good job buddy. I figured you're smart enough to check gate clearance. A slight angle cut on the tips might look good. Like a few degrees off of a vertical cut, tipped back from bottom to top. If that made sense.

yea, i got what you meant. im waiting on some stainless steel tips for these pipes... not sure what my buddy ordered but we shall see...

i do personally like the "shotgun" tip effect though. i would like a pair of plugs that have a red flag reading "remove for liftoff" kinda like some aviation jets have... lol

You should get some red fabric, make a piece to wrap around the tip. About a foot long. Cut it into strips most of the way down the length. Use a hose clamp to hold it onto the tips. Then you can have your very own wacky waving arm inflatable tube man!

If you don't, I probably will. And if you're wondering if using a tall boy can with the ends cut of works, nope. The exhaust pulses actually crimp it shut. Using it as an extension tip anyways. My exhaust tip is about a foot from the edge of the body in front of the driver back tire. Didn't want a visable tip for cops to spot when they hear noise. But I have a resonator tip I found in the freeway I'm gonna use eventually.

so its been a while since i updated this thread. not too much has gone into the truck but a few important upgrades happened. i added all new energy suspension bushings all around to improve the ride quality. upgraded my front torsions to 1ton 25mm bars, 1ton 25mm front sway bar and i picked up a rear sway bar im working on mounting right now. i also got some new shoes for the truck as well!! 16x8.5 C4 wheels with 195/50/16's... although they rub a bit, ill be getting some 205/40/16's instead and allow for more room.

I know what cams to run the guy at colt cams makes the best ones you can ether get all new shims or he will give you the shim to go under the stock buckets

ps you will run out of fuel very soon after words so you will need to over drive your injectors or get new ones
