Got a billet grill that was long & high enough to fit, welded a aluminum flat bar with both ends bent to 90 degrees to the grill @ three locations ,& matching flat bars mated to the back side of the plastic grill housing( used long strand kitty hair),drilled holes & used pop rivets to attach
In this photo you can see that I shaped the same angle as on the grill housing on the ends of the billet grill & the grill as a slight bow out @ the center(sticks outside the plastic housing ) a little @ center! Hope this is of some help!
At last weeks show,my first sense finishing paint work. Still have the dash to do & repolishing some areas not to my liking. Won Best Late Truck

Thanks for the good comments. Two weeks after that show was the last one for this year for me,a show I've been going too almost every year. This was the 11 year, & finally won, got Modified 1980 & Later There is no Mini Truck class & I'm always the only Mini there. All high end hot rods! As always I'm forever doing something on my project!
