No car club now, but was the orig president of a club called Inertia Car Club, Hattiesburg, ms, but dropped title then out the club eventually. Won't ever be in another car club though, you will always get bad apples that turn it into a soap opera/ political event.
My car club basically involves me and whoever wants to run a sticker. I mostly started it because i think the trucks look cool with a car club sticker in the back window. So HyperTension Minis was born and i am the only one that has any stickers. No politics with myself. hehe
like i said, not in a car club, but this week i did order me a toyota mini's sticker, i think its sweet and maybe when i go to shows this summer in the under construction class, people will see it and join the forum!
I have been thinking about repping a toyota minis sticker too. Like i say the hypertension is just an additional customization.
been in Twisted Obsessions for a little over 10 years now. its been alot of fun but there is always drama with clubs. its just something that you just have to deal with in any organization.
Well i never noticed it before the club, or after - drama, but in the club i was in, which consisted of about 40% females, there were mainly the ones causing it, not all of them but a few. Female drama > Male drama
One of the things I have learned in the past 2 years being in the Mini Truck scene is there is Drama everywhere! Just like the red neck Offroaders and the Renegade Bikers they are a wild alcohol influanced bunch. any time you introduce alocohol and a group of people some one is going to do something someone else don't like. Your Club is what you make out of it. Call it a club call it a click call it My Friends and I... We are Natural Pack animals we love to form groups. So if your fellin kind of lonley and you see a Dog Pound Minis Truck around ..... Come on over pull up a seat we'll chat with ya... Same with DogpoundOffroad if you see one of our rigs come on over we are a friendly bunch... Ok So tell me there is only one Club in Western Washington
San Diego cahpter. Been a member since 94, President since 05. 20 chapters across the nation. No drama. Clubs aren't for everyone. Especially mine.
Yes your right there are several clubs well maybe not several but quite a few clubs over here....I'm mearly trying to get them to speak up...
I've been a TM member for almost 3 years now, and yours is the only one I've seen members of on here from that area.
From what I have heard, Other that sittin pretti I don't know of any mini truck clubs on the web, I mean Clearance Issues is on the web but they are a Mazda mostly club.. I talked to the Prez of Grounded and they are not interested in being on the web.. Zero Ground Clearance is but they have their partnership forum they hang on...
