Why not use aircraft paint stripper? You can brush it on and make life alittle easier for you.

 

thanks for the advice brotha.I'm not a body and paint guy so any advice would help.Do you know the product name cuz I got a lot of paint to strip. Just curious wheres Nova.

Got the bed flipped over and found a couple areas that need attention.1 is fabbing up some supports for the inner fenders 2 found a couple of rust spots I need to grind and paint. 3 For some reason my dog likes to chew on wires so gonna repair those and loom them up where my dog cant get at them. And last replace the stock license plate lights with some LEDs.the marked area is where I need to notch.Also prepped the headlight buckets for the new LEDs

 

I got it loomed up.My dog did a number on one of the plugs but I made it work.

Bro, saw some aircraft paint stripper at Home depot today. Its a blue red can, brush on type not spray. I've used it in the past and it works good. I saw it in the area where they mix the house paints

Got the bed notched and cleaned up the rust spots put on some rust inhibitor and painted it. So know I think its ready to go on and stay on.

 

Some of my stuff came in the mail today.LED headlights and the tail lights.Still waiting for the corner lights.

 

Tail lights went on.I am gonna use my old parking lenses in the meantime but blacked them out because I plan on using the inner set of LEDs for the parking lights and the outers for the turn signals.
(=left turn 0= headlight and )=left parking light same same on the other side. (0)--TOYOTA--(0) This will be my front end.

 

Where did you buy the headlights and tails?

 

I'd like to see those headlights with the led lit up looks like they put out some light

@Scrubb88 Me too brotha.I'm almost there.I Had to scrounge off my parts trucks to find all the plastic clips for the headlights. I'm going to wire in the turn and parking lights today and hopefully be able to mount up the headlights and grill.I also still have to secure the bed down and thats about it.
