rear porportioning valve removal...

    Sh!t im surprised i never saw this. Ima have to do it now. haha.

    anyone have the rear end lock up with this lil mod?

    And so is it 1/8" block off? or a 1/4"?

    yea........ our trucks were built quite drop friendlier than the tacomas...... it seems every generation of tacoma has been made to where they are not as easy to drop anymore........ aloomst as if toyota does not want us tampering with them :looney:

    so long as you adjust the lever to sit level from the snout of the valve, you should have a fair amount of pressure for the rear brakes, if you want a little more biased rear brakes, make a very fine adjustment for it to point upward. or less brake you point it down. :waytogo:

    After seeing ur post i think i had an idea of doing something like it but couldnt come up with a way to execute it. I might do SMCtoys mod. il hold on to the LSPV incase i want adjustment.

    Ok so after i unplug the line from the front and put a plug in its place i can take all of this out? Its not needed at all? This whole green thing?

    no clue, free bump.. I havent done it to mine and noticed today my brakes are sticking a tiny bit..

    yes. correct. you will just hook up your main feed line to the rubber hose and find a way to bolt in the bracket that holds it. delete everything else.

    Sorry, just saw this lol & what SD YOTA said is correct. Ive been driving my truck on & off-(in the rain too) since Ive done this mod & no problems.

    Yeah, i done mine like this. Pissed poor'd on me going to Heritage2KX. Drove it on a parkway were the semis have the road way with ditchs in it and never had a problem with my breaks.
