    I have never heard this either. I have noticed and discussed with my friends that solid axle Toyota gear seems to be similar to 3/4 ton running gear that comes in full size Chevy trucks based off of axle diameters and ring gear diameter, and these axles are under much lighter trucks than a full size, which adds up to seriously overbuilt running gear.:waytogo:
