I found a yellow corolla wagon years ago that i wanted real bad, had its springs cut and all, just didnt have the money for it. lol how's the interior on it? id love to have that for a daily cause i could fit the biggest subs evar in there.
haha.... yea. i got lucky... the wagon is in decent shape, not great, but decent enough for me to work with. it has the QA1 coil sleeves up front with tokico blues........ im gonna shorten the tubes on it to allow more stroke in the shock travel. i got the rear set up on 3" blocks and am getting some air shocks to bring it up a bit when needed. i am in need of a new cat so i figure imma get the exhaust redone too and get a nicer tip made out back. stereo is in the works this week and ill be setting up an amp with a couple subs soon as i get a few more funding spurts.
That sounds awesome, I'm interested in the details of the stereo too. Do you have a build thread i can follow somewhere?
You sir- can build a ****ing truck! That's perfect, I seriously am trying to build my '77 the exact same- can I ask exactly how much fender work it took to run the 10.5 wides?? That's so much baller stretch
thought some of you vw fans would like to see these vw's desert proving grounds is like 10 miles from my house. these were going down I-8. the one towing had a more classy front end. the one not towing looked more like a work truck. and a random lux i see all the time. an old lady drives it.
fender work on the front.............well let's say, 2 louiseville sluggers and a fence post. a good driver (vehicle operator) and a hammer. with some patience and an eye for what you want. took about 2 days each to get it to get the 10.5 in side at lowest point. have fun with it.
Came across this old picture of one of my previous cars and my gf's Z. Might be selling my truck and buying this from her. 05 with only about 25K on it. Mostly sits in the garage collecting dust otherwise. Sneak peek of my main project car:
