yeah im like 6 months and 20k miles over my warranty... just called... gunna order the part, its like 300 free shipping then you get 75 back when you return the core which they give a shipping label for also...

 

what happened to the rack? did you rip the inner socket out of the rack? if you have a jacked up lift ive seen strange things happen to racks, balljoints, tierod ends, hell even control arm and spindle damage.

i would go after that 4 wheel place and say the rack blew up cause of their crappy lift.

4 wheel wont fix it.. It truely has nothing to do with the lift kit, its my driving style, I make a lot of u turns and to do that I have to lean on the wheel to do it, and the truck came with a very poor rack to begin with.. alot of trucks see failures at 60k miles and mine happened at 55k with hard heavy abuse... the actual rack split in half... found a used one for 180 oem, gunna try to talk him down to at least 150 shipped or ill save up a few more weeks and order a brand new lifetime warranty one for like 250

oh yeah seller said the used rack came off his friends totaled truck, with under 12k miles...
