it was whatever i ran into first, (given a good deal) and i couldnt pass this up. plus my boy is hookin me up by letting the truck go. so ill make somethin special of it...... yup. done with the 84-88 for a little bit..... i had a 90 at one point and kinda wished i had kept it but oh well, here's my second chance. oh i know....... forgot where i heard or seen it but i wish i had the funds to just go get it really................ link?
............aaaand we have touchdown on SD Yota territory. By alisn4x4 at 2011-03-21 By alisn4x4 at 2011-03-21 ......... i see soooo much room for potential to fit right in By alisn4x4 at 2011-03-21
gonna work in a different direction this time around........... paint and body are comin in first since the truck is nearly broke down to a stage where i can get it done. ill work on fixing the old motor meanwhile the paint gets done. once i have the truck painted, ill redo the interior, slap the motor in, bring it down a few inches for meantime, then work on getting a motor swap for it. looking into options....... a ford 5.0 be the simplest, cheapest, and cleanest swap in to it. im still considering the 1uz swap if i can gather enough funds for it as it is considerably more expensive.
yes...... however i found it roomier than the last gen truck..... a few inches makes a difference. i also have seat options in mind that will offer even more clearance for me. considering the "beggers cant be choosers" situation i was in, ill take up my buddy on his offer and pick this truck up.
yer welcome i feel the need sometimes to explain since there are people everywhere that question my decision to have sold the lo-lux
body IS relatively straight. needs a drivers side fender, and the bed needs some slight work. other then that, its cool. wheels i think are Tom's? forgot what size they are but dont think those will be staying on the truck......
Just curious, did you get that towed over? How is the exhaust system on that and the cat? I'm sure you won't be needing it with your crazy swap project.
