Alright so i been checking things over and over and over again and everything appears to be right but the motor still wont fire.

    i got it to start for a few seconds and it didnt sound too bad. But then it crapped out. I checked for codes and its throwin a 51. which according to the book is;
-Air conditioner switch ON, Neutral start switch off, idle switch off during diagnosis check.
    "Trouble area"
    *A/C switch circuit
    *A/C switch
    *A/C Amplifire
    *TPS circuit
    *TPS
    *ECU

I have an extra TPS i got from the JY but the connector is different. so i cant connect it direct to my harness.

Is there a way to check the sensor with a DMM?

Is your battery/alternator good? Did you jump start it?

Alt is good. But I keep draining the battery cranking the motor after checking different things.

The battery died this morning after it ran a bit.

So i went on a JY run with my friend. I went during the week so i knew wat i was guna go for. and well i got wat i wanted:waytogo:

2nd and 3rd piece for my grille!!!!

    No Bezels
    [IMG]

And after removing the bumper to persuade the brackets cuz the bumper interferes with the grille. Well not no more
    [IMG]

Only issue im having isthe corner lights arent sitting flush with the grille. could be because theyre off a '95 and the grille aint but still. Im guessing my core support is Fcuked. oh well i made it all fit and look decent
    heres the gaps..

if i remember right, corners for 4wd and corners for 93-95 4runners attach to the grille differently. maybe see if you are using the right combo

Im figuring thats the case. Cuz the 92-95 4runner corners(which is what i have) dnt attatch to the grille. but the only way i could see wat i have working is if

    A. The 4X4/90-91 4Runner corner lights are like an inch shorter(from the screw holes to the curve at the closest to the front of the truck) than the facelift 4Runner.

    B. My core support gets pulled out about 1"

I am not sure if it would work, but I have thought before about using 98 Tacoma headlights with the 4runner front. If you put them upside down and did a lot of trimming it might work. And I know that they are a direct plug in.

K so i had seen something like this in a minitruckin mag a while back but i dnt remember what truck tho. But i decided to mimic what they did....

    Heres what i started with...
    Cut out 2 of these...

Then after cutting, trimming, grinding, hammering, grinding, grinding, grinding, grinding, drilling, grinding......

    Oh where did it go?

    Oh wait is that it?

AAAAH there it is attached to the fender....

Now i just needa drill out one more hole and paint it. Then start on the passenger side. i just cant decide what color i wana do...

    What do u guys think??

Are you not running fender liners? I think it does look good though. I might have the oem corners you nees if interested.

Naw they werent on the truck when i got it. Just swapped the fenders. I cut the passenger side tub, the driver side ima just bash via BFH.

And i already got the corners. These are guna have to do until i get the proper ones for the grille. The 92-95 4Runner ones attatch differetly to the grille and have a different curvature.

The box appears solid. It looks like you have a hobo infestation!
