Hey man & members, found a link for some aftermarket taillights for 84 - 88's, here they are. . . decent pricing & about $20 a pair to ship . . . Prices total range from $87 - $93 shipped ! Mine are the black ones (see picture below), Ide sell mine $65 shipped if anyone was serious about them, they are still in perfect condition. I use paypal and would prefer to use that! They use to have these on Ebay but I havent seen them in forever, some sites sell for $150 and up so this is a much better deal!

    How 2 . . .

( Glad you asked ) To remove the slider is really quite easy. I took and opened my slider windows, I then grasped the top of the middle of the window thru the window, I then pulled lightly to release the top of the seal in the middle, after you open up the seal and pull a little the window will release all its seal along the perimeter leaving the bottom seal still resting on the cab, lift it up and out of the lip and walla, that parts done. If you have any silicone or sealant on the window this will be a little harder to accomplish but, works just the same with a little more effort.

( To install the window like I did, you WILL need 2 people, as I did the traditional rope in method ) I highly recommend that you clean the new seal in the sink with some warm and soapy water to get all the grim off, its amazing how much grime can be on it. After that, install the seal on the window to be installed. Then install a 1/8" - 1/4" wet ( soapy or lubed, I just used baby oil and hot water ) rope in the lip of the seal that is left after putting it on the window, I used a 15 rope. You want the two ends to be at a central location, for mine I choose the top ( I had to lengths 6" - 8" sticking out at the top inside the cab, have your buddy or helper place the glass on the bottom of the window lip on the truck to start install. I set my window in on the bottom and made sure the seal was on the inside and pushed to one side ( mine was the bottom drivers side ) as the bottom corners can be a pain. When this part is done have your helper press the window against the lip of the truck close to the moulding to where you will be pulling, start pulling the rope along and out of the seal to seat the window as your helper is pushing, youll see the seal appear on the inside of the cab. When I got to the middle-bottom of on side done, I then moved to the other length of rope and repeated the process until the rope was fully out of the seal.

All in all, this is very easy to do, I personally think changing a couple of tires is harder :p ! In the end you can save about $50 - $100 by doing it yourself, and itll only take about ten minutes to remove and install the new window. Heres a link on a Ford sliding window on pictures of HOW to do what I did. Big important note ( I hate Fords but for some reason its the only one I could find right of hand in a general search, Sorry, to put that name on this site! ) Read over it a few times and youll have it! If you want take pictures of install and post your own version that would be killer . . .

    Which one(s) ?

I dont sell the stickers, I had 3 made @ http://a2zdecalz.com/ they ranged in price from $8 - $13. You can order custom stickers by whatever size or whichever color you want at many online vinyl sticker sites. Whats nice about custom sizes and colors is, you pick what size fits your needs, and what color you like, unlike some sites that offer 1 - 3 basic stickers and only a few colors. . .

    Okay added the new bumper/valance/grill

Today I added the new 4x4 1987 - 1988 toyota grill, the conversion bumper brackets, the 92 - 95 chrome 2wd bumper & the 92 - 95 toyota valance, as well as, the new clear turns . . . Pretty easy swap, just took my time and tested patience on a few parts . . .

    Before . . .

    &

    Stripped down & painted chassis black . . .

    continued . . .

Conversion bumper brackets painted chassis black and installed . . .

After pictures, rough time including breaks it took me about 3 hours between cleaning painted and such, I'll let the results speak for themselves . . .

and the side view that most everyone swears will not line up, well, it does, lil tweaking to do, but the lines are identical in following the fenderwell . . .

Overall, I like the look, semi-easy install, took some time and test fitting, as well as, adjusting, but in the end I think it turned out well ! Whatcha think !?

    Thank You's and Links . . .

First of all, and most importantly, Thank You for the kind comments, I appreciate it alote !

The parts I tool off were given to my brother in law, so I'm sorry can't sell em', This combo looks much better anyhow in my opinion . . . I got my chrome bumper and valance from FBIrides.com and below is the exact parts I ordered, I paid member price and even with buying a membership I saved quite a bit, cause I am ordering a few other things from them soon. You can find these same parts online, like Ebay and alot of other sites, but, prices and quality vary, my bumper was good quality chrome all the way around, the valance, was ( okay  ) had a few tweaks and 2 holes didnt line up but, overall it installed very easy with some patience. The links . . . including the bumper . . .

the conversion brackets ( which took 2 weeks to make for some reason, but fit perfect, just had to prime & paint ) . . .

    & the grill ( 1987 - 1988 Toyota 4 x 4 grill w/headlight doors ) . . .

    * * * Don't forget to top it off with clear bumper turn signal lamps and dont be like me and ASSume you wont need pigtails, cause you do ( lesson learned  ), hence junkyard or friends :) * * *
