i work on it everyday, except for a few times i had to go out of town and a few other times i had to go help my mom with something, and as of thursday i go back to work 3 days a week. but i am otherwise down in the shop from 9am-8pm everyday.

 

its been a minute since my last update. i been kinda busy and out of parts recebtly. i did a little digging through everyones favorit site (toyotaminis.com for those that don't know) a few weeks ago and found a few more pics from the previous owner, and while i'm at it i had a few more pics of my own to share. also no sittin' pretti summerslam for the toxic toy, unless my homie/club brother rob (porktaco99 on customtacos.com) wants to haul it up on his trailer. the club as a whole isn't going but at least rob and i will be in attendance.west coast nats are lookin' kinda iffy also with work consuming a lot of my time and parts being needed finishing in time to road test is soon to be a pipe dream.rod run in longview, wa is a club event for us, anyone who comes out shoulod look for the low down legends. (lowdownlegends.com-i'm a member offically now). anyway enough of my ramblings thers time for that ish later.

got a few more things cleaned and painted today. 2mrw looks to be more of the same... i need to find an 89-94 (running or not) though for parts. this is difficult as i have to keep it around $1000 and it has to be 22re and most likley 2wd

 

so incase anyone was wondering i did fall off the face of the earth in the last few months. new job, new club, and new girl.... the toxic toy is coming along... pics, yeah, i got a few, new ca,era too, since i updated my phone recently too. i filled a 2g memory card fast though so i gotta switch cards back before i start posting progress, and that takes a few minutes. i'm going out of town for a week or so, and should have a good day or 2 to do this quick and easy on a faster computer. quick updates on her though.

=motor is finished except for an oil pan, painted and everything-looks freekin sweet as heck
=rear brakes are done.
=cab is painted inside and about halfway assembled-need new fan thermostat
=exhaust is done-thank you adam @advanced mufflers in scappoose, oregon, he did an amazing job
also thanks to roger who among other things painted the exhaust for me while i was @work.

also i might get a new project soon... my club prezis selling his 86 mazda w/ cantilever set up and massive traditional bodydrop,and he's interested in my 78 corolla... we may make a deal soon.
that'll get the 4.0 and 5spd from my explorer if this happens or i'll cut a massive hole in the floor of the explorer and drop that body on the mazda frame...... would like to see the mazda stay a nodied truck though... i'll chop it 4-5 inches and do it right.....

 

I know i promised up a whole batch of fresh pics a few weeks ago, but i got busy on my trip to cali... Didnt exactly go as planned either... And now since i been back home its all new girlfriend and work and club stuff... I dont live close to any of those things either.... Anyway update... My brembo rotors should be here 2mrw, anyone know where i can get some calipers now?? Interior is all painted and ready to go in, engine driven compressor, and two airtanks are soon to be installed, i got my 4 point harnesses, and its almost time to swap the bed floor.... heres the pics i been promising forever now... its still not drivable, but the motor is out for the last time now, since i finally got an oil pan, i also got a fuel cell the other day, pics later, fuel pump will be ordered whem i get jome from the weekend since the girlfriend wants me to crash at her place to meet her dad 2mrw night..., club meeting, work, etc.... you guys know whats up. anyway, got most of the interior done, just need to refab the seat brackets, and fab the harness in place then order the carpet kit. gettin a kicker 10" and might go with a new deck.motor just needs the pan bolted on, the starter, and the clutch, preasur plate, flywheel, fluids and filters. the bed will be done soon, and then there wont be hardly anything left...
