What’s the specs of those wheels? 15x8s? What’s the offset? Look good just like that? Might have to get flares lol.
Looking to make a rear panhard...has anyone attempted making one for these second gens? Also has anyone done a sway bar swap for a thicker one?
Not sure what upgraded sway bars are available, maybe one from a chinook or something could be made to work. and not to steer you away from it but why do you need a panhard bar? Shouldnt be hard to add one if you can weld.
Knowledge is power, but Toyota already engineered it. Every 4runner has a panhard bar. Cut out the brackets from a 4runner, copy the geometry, and ta-da!
I feel you on that. I have to say im sure the leafs do a decent job of keeping the side to side movement down. Your biggest problem will be axle wrap.
for setting up a panhard, check this video out: for axle wrap, I have even looked at some of these: https://www.hellwigproducts.com/our-products/search/?searchq=2002
True, the 4runner has 4 link and coils, but the panhard rod does the same thing in either setup. Poly bushings help prevent sway more than trac bars, if we are looking for cheap ways to firm up a rear axle.
Might Max springs with one coil cut for sale Lowers it quite nicely, reference picture is 15x8 on 205/60. No longer lowered so no need.Local pickup or https://www.ebay.com/itm/144023563201
forgot about this 5 spd trans, finally swapped the 4 spd out around new years after sitting for about 6 years.
curious for anyone with a W55, what rpm do you turn on highways with your final drive and tire set up?
