    i've had my eye on a 66 stout in my local toyota salvage yard. it's rough, and they want $850 for it.

    You guys give me alot of inspiration. Especially when I see the chassis fabrication you guys undertake. I also love the fact that there is virtually ZERO of the negativity that is seen on other automotive forums.

    Alot of it has to do with the age spread i think, and the fact we all love toyota so much, we are happy to even see an old beater :)
    Anyone thats into these trucks, seems to have a diffrent outlook then say for example the s-10 guys.
    Alot of other sites are full of "my ride is cooler then yours". we here seem to think everyones truck is cool, regardless of what there doing.

    I don't get it...:shrug: I dunno... My truck came with a hammered on bed so I guess I am just sensitive.:( The previous owner got frustrated trying to change his clutch and took a sledge to the whole bedsides. I am still looking for a new bed...

    Made a bit of progress in the engine bay:

    Got rid of a big pile of vacuum lines and crap, but still got a bunch of cleaning to do. :eek: Next thing to do is a header and exhaust.
