Finally getting my truck back together and installed my lowering springs and blocks this weekend. Might end up reorganizing the leaf springs but I kinda like the rake.. test fit my wheels before I get tires. Gonna go with 195/50x15. Wheels are no name aluminum 15x7, et-8
The height up front looks good, the rear needs more drop. Especially with the tire size you're looking at. Looking forward to how its all going to look
That's what I was thinking too. I'll just wait and see once I get the tires mounted. I didn't have an angle grinder to cut the bolt or brackets on the springs so that's why I didn't do it at the time.
I saw somewhere the through bolt for the leaf springs is too long to fit in the groove on the lower shock plate that goes on the bottom of the springs once you take out the middle leaf and it needs to be trimmed. I can't confirm since I haven't tried it though.
Probably, yes. Mine are 8.5” with around 4” offset (don’t know the exact specs but would be 4.25” max) but my truck is a different gen, stick out a bit at the rear, more at the front but I intend to find 4wd fenders to achieve equal fitment all around Edit: After another look it appears he posted the backspace as -16mm, this is very similar to the offset but uses the centerline of the wheel for reference as opposed to the wheel flange. When buying wheels they will usually ask you for this measurement, as opposed to offset as it’s not commonly used anymore. But offset should be 4.25” on his if my math is right.
