Wow, it's been a year since the last post. just to clean house a lil'bit, here's the answer to those who were curious. everything was hooked up fine, the battery I was using didn't have enough cold cranking amps to start the engine. shoNuff came over and jumped it, started right up. also, the alignment dowel on the cam gear had come loose, possibly contributing to off-timing. so there you have it.

 

So how the truck running now? Have you done anything new to it?
