I've never heard of these either. I'll do some research.

What are your thoughts on these?

This is the response I got from QA1. Anyone have this information on hand?

We do not have a part number in the catalog however alot of people have been using our Stocker Star single and double adjustables. To get the correct shock for your truck, I would need you to measure your shock mounting length. Simply measure from the centerline of the upper shock mount to the centerline of the lower shock mount. Make your measurements with the vehicle no flat level ground and all of the weight on the suspension. This will give us the information needed to spec a shock with the appropriate travel. The next piece of information that we will need is the shock mount styles and sizes. Once we have all of this information, we can get you shock part numbers.

    Give me some time.

So, you want some polished parts?

    I saw your FS thread.
Very nice turbo kit. My last car had the turbonetic kit as well. I liked it.

For this truck, I'm planning on doing the 1JZ or 2JZ swap...but thats later. I want to save up enough money and build the engine right.

I think I still have my mid leaf in my garage...
    PM me.

That's funny. My boy is doing the same thing. But, it was his idea first.

He's going to get a whole supra front clip. Even swap out calipers and everything.

I've considered dropping in a SBC and go with a drift look. Maybe even a V8 with some Borla pipes. OOOHHHhhhhhh!!!!!

    Word. At the least.

It is the only right way of doing it if you want big power in our Toyo IMO.
    ...Money spent per horsepower wise.

I haven't been really looking yet. I'm working on its cosmetics first. :D
    $300?! That's cheap!

    Oh, when I said 1JZ, I mean't the 1JZ-GTE.
I've seen some on eBay for $1,500ish. Comes with 5 speed tranny and ECU.

But still, none-turbo 1JZ for $300 is still cheap. :waytogo:
No way I can find anything at that price here in SoCali. :brickknock:

    okay "Lexus" motor swaps!

1JZ 2JZ 1.5JZ and 1UZ, those are some good candidates

Hey Bro, I'm am seriously thinkin about swapping a 1JZGTE in my 93 extra cab as well. However, I really have to have A/C as I will be using this for work. My work involves a lot of driving so this thing needs to be reliable as well. Is this possible??? I'm not looking for tons of HP. I'll be happy with the stock twin turbo setup and get at least 300hp at the wheels with raised boost and a simple fuel upgrade. I decided that instead of building up my 91 Civic Si or buying an 04 and up S2K, I'll just mod my truck and make it my ride for a very long time. I already have 167+ hp at the wheel on my 05 GSXR 1000 so I'm definitely not looking for crazy hp. But I would l really love to have the 1JZ under the hood. I'll have a nice tow vehicle for my bike to the track and a sleeper at the same time. I'm from SoCal as well. Let me know if you have started the transplant on your truck. I'd like to see it in person if you don't mind. BTW, I've seen mount kits for our truck for the 1JZ/2JZ's..
