Just wondering why a lot of peeps want to switch over to a high output alt? Is it to run a high wattage stereo or do you need it for the compressor for the bags because it's too much of a drain.

LOL, you look like someone pulling a prank on someone the way you look up just before you drop it. Should be cool when you are done.

    Yes and yes.
I have experience with stereos but not compressors. I bought it because I want to keep the battery charged. I might be going with compressors and a stereo too.
This alt kit uses a gm alternator and it puts out more amps at idle than the stock toyota alt puts out at high rpms.

Yea I was kinda pulling a prank lol:D
I knew it was going to fall fast because I only have an air line hooked up to a tee and shrader fill valve. All I did was grab a wrench and unscrewed one side of the tee

I don't know my friend had the truck before me. It could have been Napa though.

    Cando shipment

I got my Cando Specialties upper and lower arms ball joints and laser cut frame gussets today in the mail.

I like the cando stamp on the bottom of the lower arm!

Still waiting for my upper bag brackets to go with.

Anyway I went to my Dad's shop in Nelson and used his hand operated metal brake to make some rocker panels out of 16 gauge. It was difficult but I made something I can work with:

Im not 100% sure yet...Ive got slam's on the front, but Im thinking I will later on. I dont drive the truck much, but front shocks will be a must for long hauls.
