Tomorrow the muffler and brake shop will be doing some more things for me. I have been waiting patiently. I am just doing a few things here and there. It now holds air front and rear. I did a filler piece on my bumper. And I have been figuring out my wiring.

    On the trailer

I now have all the clutch and brake lines. The brakes work. My clutch works but not exactly. The pedal assembly I made has too much flex in it. You might have to go back a few pages to see a picture of it. I copied the idea from a body drop build on minitruckinweb. But I didn't use as thick of metal as I should have. So I need to only weld in some bracing and make the pedal have more leverage. It just flexes the way it is now and cannot push hard enough down on the clutch cylinder.

So I have it home now again.

Edit: OH and it runs now too :)

    Home again

The engine is running nice. I have some things to do still like hang the exhaust and interior stuff. But I hooked up my rear valves. No compressors yet just the air in the 5 gal. tank.

I know I know. The blue, black, leopard, brown and chrome isn't really matching. I gotta git rid of the blue. But my plan is to do a bunch of bodywork and spray it this summer sometime. There is a car show in about 2 weeks from now that I plan on going to. In Kaslo BC.

I'm getting some black auto/marine carpet today or soon. Then I will be able to finish the whole interior. So then the interior will be done and I will need to get all the air system finished. Where I live everything takes forever to get and costs a lot more. Overnight shipping is pretty much non existent. Patience is a virtue.

And I already hooked up my stereo with a 12 inch Kicker L7. And I already got in a high speed race vs. some dude in a very large Dodge.

Well the Dodge I guess. But he had way more power. I had to draft the **** out of him and hit the corners which enter into a straight quickly. It was just kinda a passing game where he didn't want me to pass him. Lol and he had some lumber in the back poking out of the canopy. That **** was sliding all over the place lol.

    my sub

I sure missed having a car stereo. Some of my components need to be upgraded. But I'm happy to have bass. I just gotta break in the sub a bit more.

    Car show pics

I made it to the car show in Kaslo. It was a great day. There was logger sports and a competition at the skatepark. Plenty of great food. And I got tons of compliments on my truck. Nobody could even walk past it without stopping to see why it was layed out lol. One person even thought it was broken lol. I took some pics.

    More pics of car show

It in the morning so I think some people didn't bring their cars. But we still had fun. The weather cleared enough after the morning showers.

There is my truck at the end!

And then on my return trip home my driveshaft bolts fell out. I think I might have forgotten to tighten them completely. So then once they fell out my center carrier bearing tore off the crossmember. Luckily it happened really close to the shop where I got some brake work done. So I had the mechanic weld it back on, temporarily, and limped it home. I drove home at about 60 and when I got tailgaters I just dropped the back end. LOL they backed off.
