I know. You're a smart man. I want one that thought has crossed my mind a few times. I'll try and get a tinted lexan one from steve at candospecialties at some point in time. I have an appointment for the mechanic shop on Tuesday so that means I'll have my truck driveable really soon! Excited!:D

Nice about time. Hey the lexan one isnt the thick plexy glass one is it? I seen a couple of them at the show and they were fading to a yellowish color. I dont care for them myself.

Fading really? Well if I get lucky I'll just find a normal one locally. But I like the lexan (it is a special material kinda like thick plexi i guess) because it is lighter and stronger than normal glass. And the one at candospecialties would be $201. I could see a guy charge more than that locally cuz they always hurtin...

Got a lot of odds and ends done today

I have the thick welding cable sorta half run. This is from my alternator to battery. I will use the same thick cable for the engine ground and battery ground.

The new LCE alt and things. I cleaned it up a bit while I had it apart it was all caked in dirt:

And I re-did this harness section to move my intake to the passenger side and also I ran the plugs through the firewall to the computer (which will be in the glovebox):

I don't know when exactly. It is at the muffler and brake shop now. I may be able to get a day permit after he is done there. But I still need to hook up my air system and lots of odds and ends.

At the brake and muffler shop. It is right beside my Dad's plumbing shop so it is an excellent place to find things that I need :D

I will continue to post pictures until I can make a good movie. That will be fun!

I have been working on the wiring. The mechanic is really busy so he works on it a little bit at a time. He still needs to work on the clutch. I now have my adjustable proportioning valve in the bed. It will be cool to mess with the adjustment on that when I get to drive it.

Distribution box for starter and fuse block. It also has 2 fused hookups for a stereo if I ever get to that.

Hey bro this has been one nice build you have done. Hey this being just my 2 cents but you should put a billet grill at the bottom of the bumper to help set off the grille alittle? Keep it up man and i cant wait for that video.

I know what you mean. But I would only do something like that if it was an intercooler taking up that space... but that would mean building a turbo engine. Well wouldn't that be nice la dee da lol
My plan is actually to build a skid plate to protect my radiator. I have seen many 4x4 trucks driving around with Toyota manufactured skid plates. I'm sure I could create something.
