You should post what youve had to replace on the engine so that we can all have that genuine reassurance that the 22re is BULLIT PROOF, yah we all know but its nice to see a minimal parts list (besides upgraded mods) on these things....

 

The only thing I've done since May '08 is...
- plugs, wires, cap and rotor at 160k
- fuel filter at 178k (original filter was still on it)
- timing chain at 184k

I am the 3rd owner and I have all the paperwork on it and nothing major was ever done to it.

 

Dude, can you post up some more pics of your side walls and seat belt wraps? I've been looking for the factory covers for that area and I can't find them anywhere, so I'm trying to think of a way to cover that area. Did your friend mold a piece and cover it or did he just glue the material directly to the cab walls? Any help you can give me would be great and I'd truly appreciate it.

 

The tweed is glued on the b- pillars. Lower down he just used the mdf and tweed to cover the lower part of the seat belts. The part he is working on is still visible.
