So i just scored an old ammunition box from the military. Belonged to my uncle accordingto my fam. Ima use it as a temporary center console.

 

Just find some parting out an ex cab. Slap the ex cab on there an bob the front of the bed lol bam insta ex cab

 

Kinda wana find a yota cab and bed and try to swap the body. Lol

looking good man. i also have a hardbody (95) under construction. i have to say in my opinion the toyota is a lot easier to work with. the nissan has a lot more room in the cab tho n 4wd fenders on em look bomb. i just love my yota too much lol. ill have to post up some pics

Stihlalive- honestly it seems like i just dont have enough room to sit comfortably. Im sure the bench seat doesnt gimme as much room as buckets thats why i want to swap it out. Jus need to find some nice ones. I know the nissans are easier to bag just cuz theres no z needed to lay flat but the yotas are just sexier

 

really? i thought the bench was pretty spacious, i grabbed some path seats n its about the same, maybe a little lower. and yes the toyotas r ofcourse. as soon as im done fixing some frame sections im gonna focus on my 93 pickup

 

Honestly the buckets seem to offer more room. U sit down lower and farther back and theres still room behind the seats. Thats and i can have a center console that im so damned used to

So since last week i was slowly working on this as i got a chance. and finally last night i got it upholstered. it aint perfect or the best looking thing but it honestly does the job.

Its all covered but i havent gotten a pic of it. i havent finished off the cup holder part or the cubby part. hopefully by the end of the week itl be done completely

 

Hey I checked this out earlier today and I am thinking about stealing the idea. I think it is an awesome basic center console. Would look good cover in plaid huh? haha. What type of wood is that?

I just used some pieces of 3/4" MDF i had laying around. Id recommend something thinner tho.

Honestly bro wen i was tryin to find some cool fabric i almost got some flannel type matterial.

Flared the bedsides like 2 inches. not too obvious but the tires wont rub if i turn hard. they used to be flush with the wheels




and i flipped the tow ball upside down since i got pulled over cuz "it obstructs the license plate"

I know some might not like the fabric i chose but its different and it has BLACK & RED

 

that console is pretty. nice job man. Hey if your looking for some seats i have 2 sets. One set is the 4runner seats and the other set i have is some civic seats. Just throwing it out there if your looking. Oh ya you cant go wrong with red and black
