4" inch blocks...... I say do it. Why not? If you have rubbing issues you can cut out some inner fender Also depends on the offset of your rims and whether your using wheel spacers or not. My buddy ran a +12 offset in the rear w/ 5mm spacer and 10" wide tires and he had to shave down his "plate that holds the lowering blocks and leaf springs together" in order to fit his wheels.

yeah it was garaged for over 9 years and just sat there (does have over 200,000 miles but runs very well). It was last driven back in 1999. The only mods I have done to it is lowered the rear end 3", new tires, replaced corner lights (due to one being broken), and installed a aftermarket stereo.

I dont see spending more then about 10K on this truck and thats if I decide to bag it. My other truck already has over 25K invested and that doesnt include the 15K price tag nor the 2K-3K fixing it after I take it out. So yes, lowering is a hell of alot cheaper project.
