Just sold my 1984 sr5 Xtra 4x4 and picked this up the next day. It's my first 1st gen 4x4. It has issues. Obviously the front axle is pulled out but there in pieces. The steering column is there but cover off and switches are broke and hanging by the wiring. I have a couple 84-88 tilt columns will they adapt to the 1982? Thanks for letting me join.

The steering column seem to be different from the 1982 compared to the 1984-1988s from my quick glances at the hazard button location and build of the columns. Not 100% sure about tilt wheels since I don't have one.

 

Yeah the hazard switch is different and the tilt knob is laid out different too. But the mounts look really close. I'll try and see. Thanks
