Nice. Plenty of life left to beat on it! How much you shell out for it?

A heirloom, very nice! Manual if I may ask? Not too sure about the later gen trucks but I see them here and there across the city. :D

2rz motor? I have a 96 Tacoma 4wd with the 3RZ and I WISH my 22r made the power that the 3RZ did. Not that it has a lot of power, but just about anything is faster than a 36 year old 22R

2RZ motor, 2WD. Should be enough power for a 17 year old senior in high school..

Definitely enough power for that situation. I wasn't trying to imply that a 17 year old needs more power. Just saying I wish my truck had more. Hopefully he realizes how awesome that truck is! When i first got my 88 I was also 17, and at first I didn't truly love it but I was incredibly thankful for it, my dad got it for me. 13 years later I'm in love with this thing.

Those LEDs are like night and day difference. I'm guessing 5% on the tint!

Nice truck, hopefully the teenager appreciates it! Tint looks good.

For sure that thing has been a rock magnet! Maybe you can find a tinted bug deflector to hide most of that without doing any paint work?

Been driving around my inlaws' 98 Taco 4wd the last two days and I remember how much I freaking love those 1st gen Tacos (especially the 3rz/5spd combo on the 4wds). About 10yrs ago my wife's grandfather gifted me his 2wd 03 Taco with only 75k on it when he couldn't drive anymore - was a fantastic little truck and we all miss having it around -- gave it to my FIL to drive and it unfortunately got totaled 2yrs ago when he went off the road in the rain - so have 17yr old be careful taking turns without any weight in the back over the axle!
