New to the board. Posted another comment on the site somewhere.

Original owner of the 85 22re efi Long bed Pickup (one Ton) with over 200k miles.
Want to do some updates and mods, since it is my primary ride and I haul stuff in it. I would like to learn about improving the performance first. The body is in pretty good shape except my bed cap is coming apart and I need to go to Leonard's to look at a repair or replacement.

I am excited to be here with like minded folks who love thier truck.

More details on my other post.

    Peace

Well i recommend a leight weight flywheel for sure and gearing. my second gear is like my first and 3rdis like 2nd for me. but i also have a CRANE cams 292 and lots of other mods. the first i did was the flywheel. really makes a big big difference in everything. i got a 9lb and it may be a little over 300 bucks but its well worth the price. check out www.LCengineering.com everything and anything you want for our 20r,22r and 22re trucks also for TACO's as well.
