I have smoked 2 ricers. the bov is so loud so I let it rip on the freeway by his car with his window down. it scarred the sh** out of him haha

Yeah the exhaust is a little loud but its not to bad when im cruising at all. but dead silent would be the best. as it is nobody want to race, they think its just a pos.

Thanks. yeah the tranny blowing up got my attention, happened doing about 80mph. under hard acceleration then boom, right in half. too much torque to these stock converters will do that. No suspension work yet. I need to find a way to hold all that weight in the front. rear end is getting a ford 8.8 with traction bars

Yeah its a grandpa truck for sure. I would like to put this engine into a miata but I enjoy being able to haul stuff and tow the boat to the lake. Im going too restore the truck fully over time. it wont look like this for long

    4WD torsions up front.

    Torque converter > torque exploder

    Stiffer, technically more spring rate.

so when you lower it, it wouldn't feel as soft.
