new gauge cluster

    i got a v6 4 runner gauge cluster i wanna know if its plug and play or if i got do slight modifictations oh both my stock and this one are electric and my truck a 22re

    If you install the V6 cluster your tach will be off and you will need to unplug YOUR oil pressure dummy sender, if not you will blow the gauge. You will need a new oil pressure sender designed for that cluster. untill you get one leave yours unpluged.

    How do u get the tach to work. I put a cluster on my 89 and everything works except the tach and oil temp

    these topics have been covered many times, do a search for em...but

    you need the right oil pressure sender for the gauge, just run a wire from the coil to the + screw on the tach or the P screw i forgot which one i put mine on

    yeah, there are a few right ups about doing it here, but it involves resetting the cluster for a 22re. You would be good to sell this one and find one from the same motor and year that your truck is.
