I used "eel snot" when I had to get my exhaust manifold bolts loose. Mix two parts ATF and one part Acetone. If it's going to loosen up this will do it. I keep it in a pump can.

I'm pretty frustrated because I have the passenger side looking like this already... How can i fix this at this point.. I feel like I won't be able to do this =[ Should I just take it to a shop? or what can be done? I really want to drop my truck already. I didn't think it would be this difficult..

Dude. Looks like they are cranked all the way the wrong way. That could be why they won't budge.

Looks pretty cranked down ..that nut is on it's way to rounding out .if you can't get it loose with heat
Other option is to put a air gun on it from the bottom closed end wrench on top if will hold
Or get a sawzall and cut the bolts ..watch your face those bars can slap ....if you do this and truck has to be on jacks stands no ramps .

Also a grinder can cut the head off the bolt ..after that it will all come out
I think new torsion bolts and nuts can be for around 30 dollars maybe cheaper

i would put the box end on top and grab my 1/2inch breaker bar and break it from the bolt head with a couple good yanks. and if that dont work then you needa heat it up n remove it. and you can always use a air hammer to loosen the nut also if all that fails.

Yeah man :( Did you use a 12pt socket/ wrench? Should be using the box end or 6pt.

I put the breaker bar on the bolt, too. a long one preferably to keep it in place as i use the wrench to crack that nut loose. and make sure you're loosening in the correct direction lol

Deffinately don't use an open end wrench on the top nut. You may need to hammer a box end onto the nut but don't let it round out. It can be replaced later, just get it loose for now. If there is space, use the handle of a floor jack on the rachet or wrench as a super long cheater bar. Should get you enough leverage. I remember having to really put my effort into getting them loose on my 92.

    I <3 coil spring toyotas :D
