that is plain crazy. i love the paint job, i wouldnt put it on my truck but i still love it

well its been a while but i got some small updates of the bucket. i got a new back window yesterday so now i need to tint it wen i get some time. also built a box for my tens. and started workin on my dash. ill let the pics speak for themselves. i still gotta wrap the box but it turned out great for wat i was going after. my dad is a master at that wood working sh!t. anyways on to the pics....








all the grey is going to be black suede so it should be sexy



im going to finish the black trim of the double din the same as the purple.

thanks nam. i just cant wait to get my interior done. then its on to the body work and suspension again. lol im going to wait on doine the carpet cuz im not sure if im going to do a stock floor bd or a traditional or if im even going to do it. lol but the paint on the outside is going to the inside

yup i cant wait for spring so i can sand my truck douwn and not sweat half my body weight. cuz its so humid in st. louis in august

 

is that just basecoat or is it some type of bomb can? i like the color.

 

the purple? its a model car laquer bomb can. its from testors. im heading to the hobby store to look at fabrics that i might want to wrap the rest in. the camera does not do it justice really. the paint is kinda expensive but its worth it in my eyes.

 

i thought about using those. or using some of the krylon x metals candy stuff, over silver or chrome painted plastics. for some dash stuff in mine. i think i actually have some purple testors now that i think about it. haha.

 

haha i love this color. i think that im going to go with a two tone paint job wen i get the body work finished. i want the top half to match the purple on my dash then the bottom half of her is gonna be either a flat black or a gloss black with just one or two coats of clear

 

purple and black would be cool. im actually using a good amount of purple accents in the interior of my truck already. and its bright effin orange. haha. and its a 78, so half the interior is just painted cab metal. it works for me though.

 

haha thats the way to do it. as long as your happy with it and the way it looks eff the rest
