yes mad props on the engine bay!!!!!! i got mine up to 106 once going downhill with my 4 speed tranny, but the truck had about 310k miles on it back then, this was years ago, oddly a week later it was running hot because the timing chain rubbed through water pump housing
really? ha well click on my build thread and look at the odo pic in the 1st or 2nd page, before i pulled the engine it at right around 375k, and i'm sure tons of people on here have 300k -400k yota's
matter of fact we went to the toyota dealership to get a new tundra, and our sales guy showed us a picture he had at his desk of a 91 4x4 yota ext cab with 760,000 miles on it. The truck was on its 4th motor and the guy was always driving from Florida to Washington state in it for some reason.
My truck had 196,000 when I put the LC engine in. It would pull 108 easily, 20,000 on the engine now. And the LC engine pulls 110 with no problem. LC tells me it should hit 140! My 94 Corolla just hit 299,000. Runs great & still gets 23mpg!
Hahaha, this is the best..okay okay just one more. My 77 got to a hunnid, a number of times. My 78 was jelo of the five speed, and there's just something about a red truck makes it faster.
LC said around 230 with all the extras they had recomended And I have never tried to see the max out of her, I've had her to 120 easily
You ARE a man of ACTION!! Apparently, you, and the truck are up to it, have been for quite sometime! Thx for posting all the event coverage, I hope to see you n' yrs at a show...have to take my truck to the beach sometime. -Aaron
